  • Structural Design: The 1000 series smoke chamber is primarily based on a recirculating duct made of sheet steel, with a transparent polycarbonate door connecting to the test section. The 1100 to 1800 chambers have a total length of 2.10 m, width of 0.70 m, and height of 0.93 m.

  • Test Section: For the 1100 to 1900 chambers, the test section has a width of 450 mm and a height of 290 mm.

  • Airflow Control: The chamber is designed with aerodynamic characteristics, maintaining normal, non-turbulent operation at airflow velocities between 0.2 m/s and 1.0 m/s.

  • Smoke Detection: Each model uses its own built-in aerosol generator to produce paraffin-based smoke compliant with EN54-7. Gas concentration is measured by an optical densitometer developed by AW Technology Ltd., also designed to EN54-7 requirements.

  • Standards Compliance: Complies with Chinese standards (GB 4716-2005, GB 4715-2005) as well as European and UK standards (EN54-5, EN54-7, EN14604, and BS 5446-2).


Intelligent Control System

The smoke chamber can be monitored via a computer, connected through a PCI multifunction card that provides analog signals and data input/output.

Each model is supplied with user-friendly software that operators can master after brief training. Testing is performed automatically, with the alarm status of up to six detectors monitored simultaneously, and sensitivity thresholds clearly displayed.
